I picked up my first guitar at the age of 9, my dad teaching me my first few chords. In my late teens I began to pursue my love of music playing in various bands, including a wedding band in the UK with my brother and childhood friend. Since becoming an Australian citizen, I have focused heavily on my solo music playing around the Central West region. My biggest musical influences are Prince, Jeff Buckley, Harry Connick Jr., John Mayer, Jill Scott and Foo Fighters. I love acoustic music because of the rawness it can bring to songs from all genres. My favourite part about playing live acoustic music is vocally injecting emotion to the songs I play. I have played innumerable gigs but I still feel the same nerves and excitement every time I perform.
